Doodles has introduced its Super Pass on DoodlesTV, now available for minting on Coinbase’s Base, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network. This marks a significant step in the transformation of Doodles from a mere collection of NFTs to a comprehensive Web3 entertainment company.

Super Pass holders now have access to exclusive drops, premieres, and limited-edition collectibles on DoodlesTV. They can engage in direct conversations with their favorite artists, replay content at their convenience, and participate in community-focused premieres. Season one of the Super Pass offers early access to a variety of exclusive content, including the debut of the animated special “Dullsville and the Doodleverse” with music by Pharrell. Additionally, pass holders can enjoy early viewing of three cinematic music videos before their official release on streaming platforms. With the purchase of the Super Pass for 0.0021 ETH (approximately $7), users can access their pass within The Stoodio on premiere day, where it will be listed among their owned assets alongside four unique onchain album artwork collectibles of varying rarity levels. Holders of original Doodles NFTs also receive complimentary admission to all DoodlesTV premieres and viewing events.

While initially gaining popularity for its PFP NFTs during the NFT craze, Doodles recognized the need to diversify its offerings as the NFT market fluctuated. The company has since shifted its focus towards becoming a digital entertainment entity, emphasizing animation and branded content. Apart from DoodlesTV, the brand is launching Doodles Records, a record label in collaboration with The Orchard from Sony Music for distribution. The label’s inaugural release features an EP with renowned artists such as Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Swae Lee. The upcoming short film premiere, “Dullsville and the Doodleverse,” scheduled for September, aligns with this transition.

Co-founder Jordan Castro previously stated that Doodles aims to evolve beyond being solely an NFT project into a leading media franchise. He emphasized the importance of focusing on their long-term vision rather than following speculative trends. This strategic shift underscores Doodles’ commitment to advancing Web3 and delivering engaging experiences to its audience.
