Domenation, developed by Blackmouth Games, introduces a unique twist to the traditional battle royale concept. Instead of the typical shrinking play area seen in most games, Domenation implements a revolutionary mechanic involving “Domes” and “Pulse.” These energy shields, known as Domes, periodically appear on the map to protect players from the Pulse phenomenon that occurs every minute. This adds a new layer of strategy and complexity to the gameplay, requiring players to adapt and seek refuge within the Domes to survive.
The game ramps up the intensity as the match progresses, with fewer Domes available and players forced to confront each other within these protective barriers. The current Early Access version of Domenation supports matches with up to 28 players, with plans to increase the player count to 42 through future updates. Each game lasts for 12 minutes, providing fast-paced and engaging gameplay experiences that keep players on the edge of their seats.
Exploration and Customization
Players are given the freedom to explore the map, scavenge for loot, and engage in battles with AI opponents to acquire valuable items. Character customization is also a key feature, with players able to personalize their appearance through skins and chips that enhance gameplay mechanics. The game offers a wide range of loot scattered across the map, from weapons and grenades to shields and health packs. Finding rare items becomes crucial in outlasting opponents and securing victory.
Blackmouth Games prioritizes community engagement and plans to incorporate Play to Earn mechanics into Domenation. By involving players in the development process and listening to their feedback, the game remains dynamic and relevant, continuously evolving to meet the challenges of its player base. Although the full implementation of Play to Earn features is still pending, the game aims to introduce $DOMEN as its utility token. Players can earn $DOMEN through various in-game activities, such as completing challenges, participating in tournaments, and more. This token can then be used to acquire NFTs, enhance gameplay experiences, and unlock exclusive benefits.
In addition to the Early Access launch, players have the opportunity to participate in an NFT mint raffle on Premint. By signing up on the Premint page with their wallet address and completing quests, players stand a chance to win one of 3,000 NFTs.
