Apeiron is not just a game; it is a Web3 god game that combines simulation, action, and collectible card games on the Ronin blockchain. The Guild Wars will unfold in two distinct phases, starting with the leaderboards competition from May 21, 2024, to July 2, 2024. During this phase, web3 guilds can register and compete to secure top ranks on the leaderboards. Following the leaderboard phase, the top guilds from each region – Southeast Asia (SEA) and North America (NA) – will advance to the Guild Wars Invitational. Guilds can choose to compete in either or both regions, giving them the flexibility to showcase their skills on a global scale.
While some details of the tournament are still being finalized, key aspects have been unveiled. The tournament will feature a double-elimination bracket, meaning that participants will have to lose two matches before being eliminated. The top four seeded guilds will receive a first-round bye, automatically advancing to the second round. The grand finals will be held in Hong Kong, with the top contenders flown in to compete in person, adding an exciting twist to the competition.
Guild registration for the event is now open, with competition on the leaderboards set to begin on May 21. To qualify for the invitational phase, guilds must earn a minimum of 1,000 ranked stars during the leaderboard competition. Alt-accounting is strictly prohibited, and guilds must have at least 25 members or 300 followers to participate in the event.
Exciting Additions
In addition to the Guild Wars competition, Apeiron will also be launching the S3 PvE dungeon for testing on May 23. This new feature follows the successful open beta of the Apeiron Arena, adding further depth to the gaming experience. Primeval owners will have exclusive access to this early build via the #alpha-access channel on Discord, allowing them to test their Avatars in the PvE mode using their own Planet NFTs.
