The SBI Group Announces NFT Minting Service for 2025 World Expo

SBI Holdings, a renowned financial services company based in Tokyo, Japan, has recently unveiled an exciting new initiative in partnership with Ripple. The company has introduced an NFT minting service on the XRP Ledger for the upcoming World Expo 2025. This groundbreaking project, known as the ‘EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet,’ aims to enhance the Expo experience through digital innovations.

The NFT minting service, named “Myaku N!,” will be a key feature of the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet. Attendees of the World Expo in Osaka/Kansai can access this service through a dedicated mobile app available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. By using the app, users will receive complimentary NFTs, adding a unique digital collectible element to their Expo experience. However, with a limited capacity of 500 users, this initiative promises exclusivity and scarcity for those fortunate enough to participate.

Engaging Attendees through the ‘MyakuMyaku Reward Program’

To further engage Expo attendees, SBI Holdings will mint a total of 920 XRPL-based NFTs for the event. These NFTs, part of the “MYAKU-N!” project, can be earned through various Expo activities, both in-person and online. Participants can collect these digital collectibles using the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet and enhance their experience by interacting with the event and earning “Myakupe!” electronic money. This initiative is set to kick off on July 1, offering attendees a chance to experience the excitement of collecting original NFTs.

One of the key features of this NFT minting service is its accessibility to all Expo visitors. Users can easily create their own NFTs by uploading selected images, making the process user-friendly for newcomers to the NFT space. Additionally, the NFTs will be viewable in real-time through the NFT explorer Bithomp. However, after October 13, 2025, when the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet closes, the NFTs will no longer be visible. This temporary nature adds a sense of urgency and exclusivity to the collectibles.

To further incentivize user participation, the initiative includes additional benefits such as lucky draws and prizes through the “Myakumyakupon!” gift campaign. These initiatives aim to keep users engaged and provide opportunities to acquire rare NFTs, enhancing the overall Expo experience. By focusing on XRP and NFTs, the SBI Group highlights the potential for crypto-related technologies to revolutionize the industry and redefine the concept of digital assets.

The SBI Group’s NFT minting service for the 2025 World Expo represents a significant step towards incorporating blockchain technology into mainstream events. This initiative not only showcases the innovative applications of digital assets but also sets a precedent for future collaborations between financial institutions and blockchain companies. With a focus on exclusivity, user engagement, and technological advancements, the SBI Group’s NFT initiative is poised to redefine the way attendees experience and interact with large-scale events like the World Expo.
